10 of My Favorite Feelings

I want to thank Xandria for coming up with this awesome idea for a tag and Saumya for continuing the chain. I have many experiences of when something happens that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and I love it when something happens that makes me feel even happier than I already do! Sometimes, it can be the tiniest things that make you feel as though rainbows and sunshines are radiating out of you. Here is a rather random list consisting of 10 of my favourite feelings!

Rules :

List out 10 of your favourite feelings! It’s honestly just that simple!

Having a Nice meal

I love experimenting with food and cuisines. I love cooking with my mother at home. And in the lockdown I have been doing it even often. My mother is a great cook and we have explored so many new dishes together. I love Indo-Chinese and it was my birthday recently on 4th June…my mother even though working had made me delicious kit-kat cake and noodles, spring rolls and momos. And they all turned out so well 🙂

I like travelling, feeling free and experiencing different cultures, food, people. I love places that are scenic and have a lot of natural beauty like hill stations, beaches, wildlife sanctuaries as compared to big busy cities.

Finally figuring out how to do something I taught myself

I don’t like to ask people for help. It’s not that I have too much pride – it’s more that I’m very independent and prefer to do things myself. If I don’t know something, I’ll research and teach myself about it.Personally, I think it’s important to be constantly learning and growing. It makes me feel pretty awesome that I can learn whatever the heck I want and do it myself without anyone else’s help.

Rainy days

Staying at home during rainy days is one of the best! I can fall asleep easily when it’s raining. There’s something about it that makes you feel more comfortable under the sheets. Also, the sound of the rain is just relaxing. Not only that, but I also love getting cozy while reading books and watching movies/shows.

So in this quarantine I have baked so many cakes and goodies alone !! So I just search a recipe and I most of the times the ingredients are available. I know how to use the oven. So I do not need any help of my mother. It feels so good to be independent !! It is a perfect pastime

Bundling up in blankets when it’s cold

Cuddling up in the warm cocoon of blankets on my bed in the winter. (On the other hand, one of the worst feelings is having to get out of my warm bed when the sun is barely up and it is cold outside.

Waking up late.

Nothing’s quite like it, honestly. Your eyes open ever so slightly and you witness the sunlight seep through the curtains. It’s Saturday, Sunday or a day off at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon or even later. You’re sluggish and disoriented but it feels like the best thing in the world because you were able to go into your dreamland for so much longer than you do during your usual sleep hours.

 Having nothing to do.

Lazy days are the best kind of days. You have no responsibilities to tend to, no assignments to finish up and no deadlines to meet. You’re allowed to spend your waking hours however you please and it’s that kind of freedom and transitory free will that keeps you grounded and sane. Now in lockdown I think this is my most common feeling.

Friends and Family Bonding

Nothing beats this! It can be as simple as just hanging out with them doing nothing, but it’s impossible to do nothing when you’re with them. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, playing card/board/video games, playing in the rain, sharing a meal with them, and a lot more! I treasure everything that we do and it is forever embedded in my heart.

I started to love blogging again. I love the feeling of writing your thoughts and sharing them without the fear of getting judged with grammar, spelling, and the way I explain things. I enjoy participating in these tags and events. I also enjoy socializing!!! I also love the supportive community and I am learning not only from the posts I read but also from the discussions in the comment section.

Now,I’m going to be nominating some people in order to keep up with the fun and continue to spread love in the community. Though it’s open to all. Feel free to join in if you are interested and kindly let me know in the comments section if you want your name added.

I nominate

  1. Thanks for the tag! This is a great post and I love your answers. Favourite feelings? Ticking off the last thing on my to-do list for the day, getting an exciting email, listening to my favourite song, baking something that turns out really well, getting in a bath that’s the perfect temperature – so many!
