Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme by The Artsy Reader. This week’s topic is Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By. I am definitely one of those people that will latch onto an author and read absolutely everything they’ve read – even if I don’t necessarily love all of their books.

This is actually not something I ever keep track of really. I know there are a few authors where I’ve read a lot of their books but I couldn’t tell you offhand how many. I’ve had to do a bit of research and to be honest, I’m still not 100% sure this is accurate or in the right order, but we’ll see how we go!

1.Enid Blyton :

I was just searching on the net and she has written 762 books !!! She has earned her star place at the top of my read list.I have been reading Enid Blyton books since I was a child of 3 years old my mother or my father used to read me Noddy in Toyland and till I was 9 years I read Malory Towers , Naughtiest Girl and ST. Clares ! So I have been reading her books for 7 years 🙂 I just can’t count how many books I have read of her !!

Jacqueline Wilson :

She has written 100 books !!! Out of that I have atleast read 40-45 of her books…maybe more !  Though her work varies tremendously each book a different story sometimes books are triologies . I highly recommend her she writes middle grade and most have YA content in them ….however on goodreads she is known as a children’s author but her books are clearly 9 + !

Rick Riordan :

Comes in at 24-26 books for me. I have read and loved each of his books I’ve read and have never been disappointed. From Percy Jackson to Trial of Apollo. Do I need to say anymore !

39 Clues :

The 39 Clues is a series of adventure novels written by a collaboration of authors, including Rick Riordan, Gordon Korman, Peter Lerangis, Jude Watson, Patrick Carman, Linda Sue Park, Margaret Peterson Haddix, Roland Smith, David Baldacci, Jeff Hirsch, Natalie Standiford, C. Alexander London, Sarwat Chadda and Jenny Goebel

There are a complete of 31 books ! Out of that I have read 20 books 🙂 I can’t wait to read the rest of the 11 books…..again I highly recommend this series I just fell head over heels for her writing and characters.

Rachel Renée Russell

I love Dork Diaries and have read 13 books of this author !

Roald Dhal

Again an author I used to read books of when I was younger I think I have read around 13 -15 books ! Rachel and Roald Dhal are a tie !!

Kinney Jeff

Author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid I have read 10 books .

Eion Colfer

Author of Artemis Fowl it comes at 8 books for me …..there are a total of 10 books in the Artemis Fowl series 1

JK Rowling

I have read 8 books of this author and again a tie with Eion Colfer

I think these are the authors I have read most books by after that most authors I have read around 5 book or atleast I cannot think of anymore 🙂

Which authors have you read the most books by?

    1. Thanks that is so sweet of you ! Wow we have read many similar books . I love the dork diaries ! I enjoyed the way it was written like a diary as it gives you the sense that you are seeing it through her eyes. It is funny because she goes through so much drama in her life and makes me laugh. Do you agree ?

      1. I have read it and it’s one of my favorite. There are mixed review on Mortal Instruments and readers enjoyed Clockwork chronicles more but honestly I loved MI more. I”m sure you will enjoy it. I still need to read Dark Artifices but I will get that series once I reread whole series.

      2. It is related, whole shdowhunter chronicles has 3 series. First series is Mortal Instrument, then you read Clockwork, then two companion books-The Shadowhunter’s Codex, The Bane Chronicles, and last Dark Artifices series.
