Hi, lovelies! I’m back again with another TBR post. I’m participating in the Disney Read-A-Thon and I’ve chosen to be on Team Princess and the Frog ! This is another month-long readathon. There are a few prompts for each team and a map to follow as well! I will be trying to complete my teams prompts first; then I will see how many of the other team’s challenges I can get to!
If there’s one thing you need to know about its that I LOVE all things disney! I have even mentioned that on my ‘About Page’ So as soon as I came across this Readathon on Lori@Reading Fairy I was like ”this is the perfect!’ Also thank you so much Lori for sending me the prompts as I am not there on book twitter.
I’ve chosen Team Princess and the Frog because the prompts feel like something I can actually accomplish. Plus, I can use a lot of my ARC and review copies to do so. Kill two birds with one stone! In fact all the books I have mentioned are ARCs !
(also I have linked all covers to their goodreads page )
Tiana : Read a book with a Hardworking Character
This sounds like a Super cute, adventurous middle grade book. The sweet main character, Blue, is a type 1 diabetic with a family history of an ancient treasure that she is dead set on finding. So I suppose she is hardworking !
Prince Naveen : Read a book with Royalty Lumiere : Read a book you predict will be a 5 star read ( Mama Odie : Gives you the power to transform one of another’s team prompt into your own. )
I have read 2 other books by this author Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 1 and 2 .They both are an important and empowering book for girls, big and small, young and old.
Illustrated by sixty female artists from every corner of the globe, Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 1 and 2 introduces us to one hundred remarkable women and their extraordinary lives, from Ada Lovelace to Malala, Elizabeth I to Serena Williams. Empowering, moving and inspirational, these are true fairy tales for heroines who definitely don’t need rescuing. I can’t wait to to read this book 🙂
Dr. Faciliar : Read a book where magic is used
It is an magical and fantasy story about witches.Witches in a pre-teen setting, looked like fun to me. Six teenage girls who discover their powers of witchcraft on their thirteenth birthday.
Ray : Read a book with a Bright Cover
It is yellow ! duh , It sounds like a fun story, an easy read.
Charolette : Read the Group Book
I do not have the group book so I will be reading another book that relates to my team .
The story is about a young Indian girl who is sent to live in England after the death of her parents, and the only thing she has is her two beloved tigers. Being an Indian myself I can’t wait to read more about the MC. Also it is historical fiction and I always want to read different genres. I think this is related as the MC brave and plucky heroine with a brightly burning heart just like princess Tiana. An outcast and orphan too !
And thats my Disney-A-Thon TBR!!! Now, I might not get to all of them, or I might do different ones, so stay tuned at the end of the month for a wrap up to see how I did!!
